We are currently seeking a dynamic and talented journalist to join our team as a part-time contributor. As a journalist, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging and informative content that resonates with our audience of educators, students, and industry professionals. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality educational resources and insights.

Responsibilities:



Content Creation:Generate compelling written content for various platforms, including blog posts, articles, newsletters, social media posts, and educational materials. Interviewing:Conduct interviews with educators, students, industry experts, and thought leaders to gather perspectives, insights, and testimonials for use in content creation. Research:Conduct thorough research on educational trends, learning methodologies, industry developments, and relevant topics to inform content creation and provide valuable insights to our audience. Editing and Proofreading:Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, coherence, and adherence to style guidelines. Proofread content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting errors. Storytelling:Utilise storytelling techniques to craft engaging narratives that captivate our audience and effectively communicate complex educational concepts and ideas. Content Strategy:Collaborate with the content team to develop content strategy, brainstorm ideas, plan editorial calendars, and contribute to content planning and ideation sessions. Stay Updated:Keep abreast of the latest trends, innovaions, and best practices in education, journalism, and content creation to continually improve content quality and relevance.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Education, or a related field.

Proven experience as a journalist, content writer, or editor, preferably in the education sector or related industries.

Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling content for diverse audiences.

Excellent research skills, with the ability to gather, analyse, and synthesise information from various sources.

Proficiency in storytelling techniques and the ability to convey complex ideas in an engaging and accessible manner.

Detail-oriented with a keen eye for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
