Job Summary

We are seeking confident, creative video reporters to produce short, engaging political videos across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X, and other relevant platforms. You should feel comfortable appearing on camera or narrating over visuals, and have basic filming and editing skills (using smartphone apps is perfectly acceptable.) The style we are aiming for is similar to that of Dylan Page- clear, dynamic, data-led videos that make political information accessible and engaging.

In addition to creating content, you will actively engage with audiences and relevant platforms to build visibility and foster interaction. All content must maintain strict political neutrality, in line with Suffrago's commitment to unbiased reporting.

Please note that this is a freelance role where you shall be responsible for your own taxes, national insurance contributions, and any other applicable obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

Film yourself (or narrate) short, clear videos using Suffrago's political and constituency data. Edit and post polished, professional content across major social platforms. Actively engage with users and communities to amplify reach and encourage discussion. Turn complex information into accessible, compelling storytelling. Uphold Suffrago's commitment to political neutrality at all times.

Essential Skills:

Confident speaking on camera and/or narrating videos. Basic filming/editing ability. Knowledge of UK politics and current affairs. Strong written and verbal communication. Familiar with TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social platform engagement strategies. Committed to impartiality and factual accuracy

Pay:

20 per video (up to 500/month+ bonuses.), plus discretionary bonus based on video performance

Desirable:

Journalism, PR, or media experience. Skills with Canva, CapCut, or other basic editing tools.
