Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Freelance NVQ Assessor to join our team to assess and support learners through a range of Level 2 and Level 3 NVQ qualifications within the

Insulation trade pathways

. The role involves guiding and assessing learners who are working towards industry-recognised qualifications across

13 trade areas

within the insulation sector.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong background in insulation and Construction coupled with proven experience in NVQ portfolio delivery and assessment.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality assessment and support to learners undertaking NVQs in: Level 2: Cavity Wall Insulation, Cold Roof Insulation, Underfloor Insulation, Wood Proofing & Damp Proofing Level 3: Room in Roof Insulation, Internal Wall Insulation, External Wall Insulation Conduct workplace observations and professional discussions, both virtually and onsite Support learners in completing portfolios to the required standards Provide feedback, advice, and support to learners throughout the assessment process Maintain accurate records of learner progress and achievement Liaise with employers and training managers to ensure effective communication and coordination Ensure all assessment practices are consistent with current awarding body standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Assessor Qualification:

A1 Assessor Award, D32/D33, or TAQA (or equivalent)

Trade Qualifications:

Relevant trade qualification in insulation or building construction at Level 2 or Level 3 Hands-on industry experience in at least one or more of the listed insulation pathways Proven track record of delivering and assessing NVQs at Levels 2 and 3 Experience with e-portfolios and digital assessment tools Excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule

Pay: 300.00-650.00 per week
