an established lighting design studio in Hertfordshire, is seeking a

Freelance Lighting Design Visualiser

to collaborate with us on exciting bespoke residential projects.

We work alongside incredible architects, interior, and landscape designers, and we need your expertise to beautifully demonstrate our lighting concepts.

What We're Looking For:

Software Proficiency:

Strong expertise in

SketchUp

and

Enscape

is essential.

Visualisation Skills:

Proven ability to produce

high-quality lighting design CGIs

and

video walkthroughs

.

Creative Interpretation:

The ability to take a lighting design concept brief and accurately translate it into stunning 3D renders and video walkthroughs.

Efficient Worker:

You can work quickly, efficiently, and with minimal direction to meet project deadlines.

Adaptability:

You will primarily work from existing architect/designer SketchUp models, adding detailed lighting effects in Enscape. You must also be prepared to

quickly create SketchUp models from scratch

when no 3D model is provided.

A Keen Eye:

You have a strong eye for detail and an appreciation for the

transformative power of lighting

.

Who This Suits:

An experienced

Freelance CGI Visualiser

. A recent graduate in

Architecture, Interior Design, or a related design discipline

with strong visualisation skills.
Experience in specific lighting design is not necessary - this is a fantastic opportunity to gain knowledge in the technical properties of light and professional lighting design. A working knowledge of AutoCAD and Photoshop would also be useful, but is not essential.

Develop your understanding and portfolio in high-end lighting design.
Work would be on an ad-hoc basis according to project deadlines and requirements.

Experience in lighting design is not necessary but you should have a keen eye for detail and an interest and understanding of the transformative power of lighting design. This would also be an opportunity to gain experience and develop your knowledge in lighting design and the technical properties of light and lighting.

A working knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop would also be useful but not essential.
