Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our new Home Maintenance business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy, enhancing our online presence, and engaging with our audience across various platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of public relations and social media management to effectively promote our brand and drive engagement.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement. Create, curate, and manage published content across social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Monitor social media channels for trends, comments, and feedback, responding promptly to engage with our audience. Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with overall marketing objectives. Analyse performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of social media initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy. Optimise content for SEO to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.

Requirements

Proven experience in social media management or a similar role is essential. Strong understanding of public relations principles and practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content that resonates with target audiences. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
