Overview

We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Manager to join our team on a self employed / part time basis . This role is essential in developing and implementing our social media strategy to enhance our online presence and improve our marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public relations and social media management, with the ability to engage with our audience effectively and promote our brand across various platforms.

Duties

Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy to align with business goals. Create engaging content tailored for different social media platforms and Google review, including but not limited to Facebook, Tik Tok, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Monitor, analyse, and report on performance metrics to measure the success of social media campaigns. Engage with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and foster community engagement. Collaborate with other teams to ensure brand consistency and support marketing initiatives. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media and digital marketing to ensure innovative strategies are employed. Manage public relations activities related to social media outreach and reputation management.

Requirements

Proven experience in social media management or a related field. Strong understanding of public relations principles and practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas for content creation. Knowledge of SEO best practices is an advantage but not essential.
