LW Photography is seeking talented and reliable

Freelance Sports Photographers

to join our team for the

Spring/Summer 2026 season (April - July)

. This is our busiest time of year, with major football tournaments and sporting events taking place across the East of England,

Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, and Hertfordshire

.

We are looking for photographers who are

passionate about sport and committed to delivering excellent-quality images to our clients and customers

. You'll be focused on photographing events --

no editing or post-processing is required

, as this is handled in-house.

Photographers must be available for

at least two full weekends per month

during this period. While this role is centred on April-July, there may also be opportunities outside these months when events allow.

Responsibilities

Photograph youth football tournaments, multi-sport events, and running/cycling races Capture high-quality action and candid moments that tell the story of the day Follow LW Photography's standards for consistency, speed, and delivery Upload images directly after events (no editing required) Represent LW Photography professionally with clients, organisers, and participants Use your own professional camera equipment suitable for sports

Requirements

Strong portfolio showcasing action and sports photography Professional DSLR/mirrorless camera with telephoto and wide-angle lenses Passion for capturing sport and delivering excellent-quality images to clients and customers Confidence working independently and under pressure at busy events Reliable transport across the East of England (Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire)

Availability between April - July 2026, including at least two full weekends per month

Willingness to work primarily outdoors, often for long days
