About the Role

We are looking for a highly creative and strategic

Freelance TikTok Social Media Manager

to lead our content and lead generation efforts on TikTok. You will create a TikTok strategy aimed at 18-35-year-old students in the UK, produce or source engaging video content, and help drive high-quality leads for our UK universities.

This role is ideal for someone who understands TikTok trends, knows how to make content go viral, and can turn interest into inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a TikTok content strategy focused on attracting and converting prospective university students Create, edit, and post 5 engaging TikTok videos per week Source and manage UGC creators or on-screen talent to appear in videos when needed Stay up-to-date with TikTok trends, sounds, and cultural movements relevant to our target audience. Optimise content for performance and lead conversion using CTAs, captions, and bio links Build a simple lead capture funnel (landing page) Report on performance monthly and adjust strategy accordingly

Requirements

Proven success managing TikTok accounts and growing engaged audiences Experience generating leads through TikTok or social media (preferably in education or services) Strong video editing and content creation skills Ability to source or direct relatable, on-screen talent (UGC creators, influencers, etc.) Excellent communication and time management Experience with TikTok paid ads or influencer outreach Portfolio or examples of similar work
