About the Role
Do you love Cardiff and enjoy meeting travelers from around the world? Guydeez is looking for passionate locals to lead private, personalized walking tours for small groups. No professional guide license is required -- just a strong connection to your city and the ability to share it in an engaging way.
What You'll Do
Lead tailored walking tours showcasing Cardiff's history, culture, and hidden gems
Adapt each tour to guests' interests and needs
Create a warm, welcoming, and memorable atmosphere
Provide practical recommendations and local insights
Optional: host culinary tours if passionate about food
Who We're Looking For
Resident of Cardiff for at least 1 year
Strong knowledge of Cardiff's neighborhoods, landmarks, and local culture
Fluent in at least one of: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, or Chinese
Friendly, reliable, and excellent communication skills
Comfortable hosting tours lasting 3 to 8 hours
Bonus: passion for food and local gastronomy
Prior guiding or hospitality experience is helpful but not required
