About the Project

Beyond The Flip is a flagship youth-facing docu-series led by Jack Parsons, spotlighting inspirational leaders, workplaces, and career journeys through creative role reversals. This special episode, filmed in collaboration with The LEGO Group, follows Jack as he becomes the "UK Boss of LEGO" for a day--with LEGO's own Country Manager, Christian Pau, stepping into the role of intern.

We're capturing a mix of cinematic storytelling, leadership insight, humour, and heart--all wrapped in LEGO's playful but purpose-driven culture.

Your Role

As our

freelance videographer

, you'll be responsible for capturing high-quality footage across the full day of production. You'll work closely with our creative lead and producer to deliver clean, well-framed, well-lit content that blends structured scenes with documentary-style spontaneity.

Key Responsibilities

Operate camera (and optional gimbal if preferred) for all scheduled scenes and spontaneous B-roll. Capture varied footage styles: seated interviews, dynamic walk-and-talks, over-the-shoulder workplace moments, and playful slow-motion. Follow the detailed

scene-by-scene call sheet

and adjust to evolving flow. Work fluidly with talent (Jack, Christian, employees), supporting natural interactions without disrupting authenticity. Support dual-camera coverage where applicable, particularly for key interactions and reactions. Store, label, and back up footage at the end of the shoot.

Essential Skills & Equipment

Strong experience shooting branded content, mini-docs, or social-first video. Own camera kit (ideally with 4K capability, audio input, ND filters, and interchangeable lens). Experience filming handheld + with stabilisation (gimbal or monopod). Ability to work independently and adapt to shifting shoot logistics. Bonus: Wireless audio or clip mics available for talent.

Tone & Style to Capture

Bright, clean, optimistic visuals (LEGO's tone of voice). Story-led framing with moments of humour and intimacy. Natural light preferred where possible, with optional LED support.
