TR Fastenings Ltd are looking to recruit a Freight & Logistics Specialist within the Logistics team at our NDC in Walsall. Working 37.5 hours per week.
The Role
Reporting to the UK Logistics Managger. Your main responsibilities include dealing with all aspects of freight, Imports, Exports, ROW, EU and UK domestic
.
All modes of transport.Key Tasks:
Sea and Air Freight Imports Exports Customs clearance Booking collections and deliveries ROW, EU, UK Managing KPIs and carrier performance Carrier Portals Negotiating freight rates Invoice approvals Day to day operations Trouble shooting TSS entries for Belfast
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail and possess analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and PDF handling. Familiarity with customs tariffs, custom entries, and courier portal booking and reporting is advantageous. An understanding of international Incoterms and purchase terms, as well as knowledge of freight forwarders, is essential. Excellent ccommunication, time management a full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK are required. The role may involve handling physical products, so the ability to carry out manual tasks safely is important.
