The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving growth within the organisation. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in sales and business development.
Responsibilities
Must have a 2+ years working as a BDM in transport industry
Identify potential clients and market opportunities through research and networking.
Expand customer base
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on business objectives and client needs.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, showcasing our products and services.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
Provide regular reports on business development progress to management
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote the company's offerings.
Qualifications
Proven experience in business development in transport industry.
Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on results.
