You will play a crucial role in managing end-to-end shipment processes, coordinating with both internal teams and external partners, and maintaining accurate shipping documentation. Additionally, you will support invoicing and billing activities, helping our operations team deliver efficiency and reliability in every transaction.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering flexible working but when you are at site, you'll be based at our Bradford site in the BD12 Low Moor area, conveniently located just a few minutes' drive from junction 26 of the M62. In return, we offer a salary of 28,000 - 32,000 depending on experience, along with a structured development plan that includes training, mentorship, and clear opportunities for career growth within our organisation.

Key responsibilities of our Freight Customer Support Coordinator:
Communicate proactively with clients regarding shipment status, documentation, and other inquiries to enhance customer service
Update client information and shipment details in the ERP system, using AI tools to support job loading and ensure costs and sells are updated and billed in a timely manner
Ensure booking amendments are completed according to weekly requirements
Monitor transit shipments and highlight delays, suggesting alternative solutions when needed
Liaise with origin agents and operations teams to resolve issues promptly
Review suppliers' invoices, approving or amending jobs, or raising disputes when necessary

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise needed from our Freight Customer Support Coordinator:
Experience within a Freight role previously
Understands basic Freight Forwarding and Logistics processes
Basic awareness of import/export documentation, customs procedures, and compliance
Experience with Cargowise or similar freight forwarding/shipping software
Understanding how to create and manage bookings with shipping lines and carriers
Effective communicator with the ability to communicate to all level of stakeholders and customers
