School And Charity Executive Administrative Assistant

Job Description

We are recruiting for Administrative Assistant to support our School and Charity Executive, the role will be varied and respond to school and charity needs. Requiring the individual to be flexible, have the ability to work collaboratively and independently.

As part of the administrative team the Executive administrative assistant will be required to operate in a professional manner at all times. They will be required to work with stakeholders at times being the primary point for members of the executive and board. They will also have access to confidential data and be required to ensure the safety of this data.

The key areas of responsibility for the role include;

Business Administration:

As part of the school team the executive administrative assistant will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, and Chief Operating Officer. They will also be supporting the Education Leadership team with aspects of administrative support. This may include;

Meeting minutes

. Managing emails

Note taking

Managing central email account

Proof reading documentation.

. Reviewing and updating policies and other process materials.

. Answering the phone and making calls.

. Updating data entry tasks such as attendence.

. Social media and other digital media.

Additional:

Work in a flexible way and undertake any other duties not specifically covered in the job description, when assigned by the line manager.

Working Hours:

Office hours are typically 0800 - 1700 hrs Monday to Friday.

To be agreed with the candidate, open to application for both FT and PT and can be flexible to support child care arrangements.

There may be requirements on occasion (4 / 6 times a year) to work up to 1800 hrs to cover a meeting.
