We are seeking a
dynamic and enthusiastic French and Spanish Teacher
to join our vibrant and forward-thinking MFL department at a well-regarded secondary school in
Croydon
the role is Part time Monday to Wednesday.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in
both French and Spanish
across Key Stages 3 and 4. The ideal candidate will be able to foster a love of languages in students of all abilities and contribute positively to the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver creative lessons in French and Spanish.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Support students in achieving strong outcomes at GCSE level.
Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum development and extracurricular activities.
Uphold high standards of teaching and learning.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching both French and Spanish at secondary level.
A strong subject knowledge and a passion for language learning.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A commitment to inclusive education and high student achievement.

Duties
Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
Teach French language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening, while incorporating cultural elements of Francophone countries.
Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods, including tests, assignments, and oral presentations.
Provide constructive feedback to students to promote improvement and encourage their interest in the French language.
Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners and encourages participation.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with teaching methodologies and advancements in language education.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills in both French and Spanish are essential.
A passion for teaching and the ability to engage students effectively.
Familiarity with modern teaching tools and technology is desirable.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 170.00-220.00 per day
Expected hours: 7 per week
