Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled

French Tutor

to lead an after-school

French Club

at a primary school in

Milton Keynes

. This role provides the opportunity to inspire children through language learning, helping them develop confidence, communication skills, and a love of French in a fun and supportive environment.

The club runs for

one hour per week, Tuesday, 3:30pm - 4:30pm

, giving children a weekly chance to practice French and build their language skills.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise children during French language activities, creating a safe and engaging environment. Plan and deliver age-appropriate sessions that develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Encourage confidence, participation, and enthusiasm for learning French. Communicate effectively with parents and school staff about children's progress. Ensure the learning space is safe, organized, and ready for use.

Experience & Skills

Experience teaching or leading French language sessions for children. Ability to engage and motivate children in a structured, fun, and creative way. Strong communication skills in English (and French if possible) for interacting with children, parents, and school staff. A background in language education is highly desirable.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 per week

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 08/09/2025
