to join their team on a

The school caters for a diverse range of learners, including pupils with

Additional Learning Needs (ALN)

and

Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD)

, so we are looking for someone who can bring patience, adaptability and a nurturing approach to their teaching.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive French lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils. Differentiate learning to support pupils with varying abilities and needs. Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages learning and respect. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to promote pupil wellbeing and success.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching French within a UK secondary school setting. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt lessons for pupils with ALN/BESD. A genuine passion for teaching languages and supporting young people to achieve their best.
