We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging

French Teacher / Supervisor

to lead a weekly after-school

French Club

at a primary school in

West Malling

. This role gives children the chance to explore the French language through fun, interactive activities while developing confidence in speaking, listening, and simple conversation.

The club runs

Tuesdays, 3:30pm - 4:30pm (1 hour per week).

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a small group of primary-aged children in beginner-friendly French activities. Plan and deliver enjoyable, age-appropriate sessions that build vocabulary, pronunciation, and basic conversational skills. Encourage curiosity, confidence, and enthusiasm for learning a new language. Maintain clear communication with school staff and, when needed, parents regarding children's progress. Ensure all teaching materials and the classroom space are organised, safe, and ready for each session.

Experience & Skills

Experience teaching French to children in schools, clubs, tutoring sessions, or similar settings. Ability to motivate and engage children in a structured yet fun way. Strong English communication skills for working effectively with children, parents, and staff. A background in French language teaching, education, or modern languages is desirable.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 per week
