Garden Fresh Exotics is a well-established whole foods store, based in the West End of Glasgow. We are passionate about stocking the finest fresh fruit, vegetables, pulses, spices and whole foods.

We are now opening a cafe/ juice counter in store. This will have cold pressed juices, smoothies, salads, sandwiches and more. We are looking for someone to lead this side of the business.

We are looking for someone truly exceptional who can bring lots to the table. The successful candidate will have a love for fresh food made using the best fresh, seasonal produce with a keen eye for detail.

Your Role

Lead a small team to deliver

exceptional customer serviceat our fresh food counter inside our whole foods store. Prepare, assemble, and present juices, smoothies, salads, and yoghurt bowls with precision and flair. Develop seasonal specials - work alongside our produce specialist to develop seasonal dishes. Train staff on ingredient knowledge, portioning, and food safety. Maintain freshness- ensure all products meet our high standards as well as food safety and hygiene guidelines. Engage customers - with recommendations and suggestions.

We are looking For

Experience - 2+ years in a juice bar, healthy cafe, or fresh food retail (leadership preferred). Knowledge: Passion for seasonal ingredients (e.g., when Scottish strawberries are at their best) and superfoods (chia, spirulina, etc.). Skills: Knife skills. Cold-press juicing, smoothie balancing, and speedy assembly without sacrificing quality. Personality: Energised, organised, and able to inspire both customers and your team. Flexibility: Thrives in fast-paced environments . Any Barista training is a bonus as this is something we are looking to develop in the future.
