We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in menu development, food preparation, and maintaining high standards of food safety. This position requires effective team management and leadership skills to inspire and guide kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment. Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and collaboration. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Assist in the preparation of high-quality dishes while maintaining presentation standards. Handle any customer feedback or complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction. Customer facing role at the front of the restaurant.

Skills

Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and practices. Proficient in food production techniques and culinary arts. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices. Experience in cooking various cuisines with attention to detail. Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead by example. Strong leadership qualities to motivate and inspire kitchen staff. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.38-15.22 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
