You'll take the lead on our pasta section, delivering exceptional dishes that reflect the fresh, bold flavours of Gino's signature style. We're looking for someone with a love for Italian cuisine, great attention to detail, and a positive team spirit.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook and present fresh pasta dishes to a consistently high standard
Make fresh pasta and sauces from scratch (where applicable)
Ensure efficient operation of the pasta station during busy services
Maintain high food hygiene and health & safety standards at all times
Support kitchen team with prep and service when needed
Communicate effectively with front and back-of-house teams
Help train and mentor junior chefs or commis in the pasta section
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Pasta Chef or Chef de Partie in a busy Italian restaurant
Strong knowledge of pasta types, cooking times, and traditional Italian preparation methods
Confidence working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Strong team player with a positive attitude
Reliable, punctual, and passionate about delivering top-quality food
Food Hygiene Level 2 certification (preferred, or willing to obtain)
