A look into the role

Working with our Fresh Foods team, you will provide guidance and assistance for our warehouse operational team, ensuring the efficient management of the warehouse. The Team Leader will be responsible for providing support to the Operational Controllers and overseeing productivity within the warehouse team.

There is a strong emphasis on teamwork and quality control which involves carrying out logistical warehouse duties while managing your team.

Working as our Team Leader you will:

  • Ensure sufficient manpower to both meet demand and smooth flow of product through warehouse.
  • Co-Ordinate the loading team for the correct loading of all vehicles
  • Ensure the Health and Safety of your team at all times; ensuring that regulations are adhered to.
  • Investigate non-compliance of warehouse processes and resolve to prevent future occurrences.
  • Mentor team members to develop skills ensuring productivity and hygiene standards are met.
  • Ensure warehouse-related processes are carried out in accordance with both work instructions and health and safety requirements.
Skills for Success

Working as our Team Leader the minimum criteria you\'ll need is:
  • A minimum of 1 Years\' experience in a relevant logistics role.
  • Understanding of warehouse systems.
  • Good MS Office ability.
  • Health & Safety awareness.
The attributes you\'ll need include:
  • Excellent focus on teamwork and ability to use initiative.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and focus on accuracy.
It is Desirable if you had:
  • Management of a team in an operational role.
  • Manual Handling training.
  • Relevant MHE Licenses (LLOP, Reach, Pallet Truck).
  • First Aid Training.

This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week over four days. Shifts are 11:30am - 9:30pm from Sunday - Wednesday or Tuesday - Friday. Flexibility is required with regards to hours of work to cover the needs of our operation.
