We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Counter Staff to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing excellent service while preparing and serving food items. Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately at the counter
Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards
Handle cash transactions and operate the till with accuracy
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area and kitchen workspace
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions
Experience in food preparation, serving, or kitchen work is advantageous
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks during peak hours
Culinary experience or restaurant experience is a plus but not mandatory
Ability to work well as part of a team in a busy environment
This role provides flexibility of hours from Thursday to Sunday and competitive salary
