, playing an important role in supporting both colleagues and visitors across the business.

In this role, you will be responsible for contacting applicants to arrange interviews, ensuring timely and professional communication, and using your natural people instincts to spot candidates who align with the positive, enthusiastic, and productive outlook that defines every Clayton Glass team member. You'll also liaise directly with hiring managers to understand their availability, preferred interview formats (such as in?person or via Microsoft Teams), interview durations, and any specific requirements they may have.

Key Responsibilities



Greet and welcome visitors, suppliers, and colleagues in a warm, approachable, and professional manner. Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails promptly, checking the answering machine and notifying the relevant person of any absences. Maintain a clean and orderly reception area, creating a welcoming environment for all. Compile and send out daily delivery reports to customers and contact drivers for estimated times of arrival when requested. Maintain thorough and accurate records of appointments, interviews, deliveries, and visitor activity. Scan, file, and laminate relevant documents, including work permits, and update internal systems accordingly. Monitor and manage stationery, printing paper, and water stocks, submitting requests for replenishment when required. Support the Recruitment Specialist and other departments with ad?hoc administrative tasks as required, always maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Essential Criteria



At least 2 years' experience in a reception or customer?facing role. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and confident telephone manner. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a sharp eye for detail. Calm, professional, and adaptable approach when dealing with varied tasks and priorities. Competency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn and operate internal scheduling or database systems. GCSE (or equivalent) qualifications in English and Maths.

Desirable Criteria



Full Driving Licence Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment. Understanding of recruitment or administrative support in a multi?department setting.

Location: Clayton Glass, Bretfield Court, Dewsbury, WF12 9BG



Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 39 hours per week



Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (finishing at 14:00 on Fridays).


Salary: 12.21 per hour
