The Project

Verto is an innovative company focused on developing cutting-edge data research tools. We are expanding our team to build our unique Ask Verto data research tool and provide ongoing support for our existing products.

We seek a skilled Javascript developer who has used the framework before to play a key role in developing our unique AI-leveraged data research tool. You will be responsible for backend development, including technical solutions for semantic search, data commons, and vector databases. Additionally, you will contribute to our products' ongoing maintenance and iteration.

Responsibilities:

Develop the front end of the platform, enabling user onboarding, Verto creation, and data analysis functionalities. Build the frontend for the user and admin experiences, including account creation, search history, querying the data commons, displaying results with follow-up suggestions and visualisations, and admin pages for data review. Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers to ensure seamless integration and optimal synchronisation. Participate in daily standups, bi-weekly Sprint Reviews & Planning, and stakeholder meetings. Contribute to the maintenance and iteration of existing frontend systems.

Requirements:

Proven experience with Javascript framework development. Ability to work within a ScrumBan methodology. Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to implement designs. Experience with data integration and display. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
