Salary: 324,358
Hours: Rota including weekends and nights, 37.5 hours per week over 5 days.
Location: Rotation between sites of 33 Grosvenor Place, London SW1X 7HY, 24 Portland Place, London W1B 1LU and 55 Moorgate, London, EC2R 6BH
Contract: Permanent
What are we looking for?
Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Front of House Assistant/Hospital Porter, with hospitality experience, to be the front-line ambassador for Cleveland Clinic London. You will act as the first point of contact to welcome and assist all patients, visitors and caregivers. Please note this is not exclusively a Reception or Front of House restaurant position in terms of responsibilities.

What will your duties include?
Transfers patients between various areas of the hospital, ensuring their safety and dignity at all times
Creates a welcoming environment for our patients, visitors and caregivers by demonstrating care, empathy and team work
Assists with the replacement and transportation of medical gas cylinders in accordance with policies and procedures
Operates the hospital mailroom and provides a postal distribution service to patients and caregivers
Adheres to policies and procedures and attends all mandatory training or courses specific to the role
Accompanies patients to their room and other areas, explains hospital facilities/services, and provides a comprehensive room orientation
Transfers patients using beds, wheelchairs and stretchers Assists with the safe handling and transportation of luggage, medical equipment and other items
Parks vehicles in the designated parking facilities Books all visitors in the visitor management systems in place and coordinates their arrival Answers calls promptly, takes clear messages, and makes accurate notes
What we need from you?
Experience in Hospitality role/setting.
High School Diploma/ General Educational Development (desired)
Experience in assisting patients/visitors within a supportive role
Experience in Front of House roles/Hospital Porter within hospitality
Proven ability to work independently or as part of a team
Driving License (Preferred)
Caring and compassionate nature
Proficient level of written and verbal English
High level of emotional intelligence, empathy and integrity
Punctuality, accountability, and reliability
