team for weekends and school holidays.

Climb Quest is one of two climbing centres run by Walthew Leisure. Our sister centre is Clip 'n Climb Cambridge. Walthew Leisure is run by Beth and Chris Walthew, and is an independent, family-run company.

The role of FOH and Cafe Assistant is to work alongside the team to successfully work at the reception, cafe and kitchen and ensure customers' expectation of food and drink and customer service are met. This could include any aspect of the cafe operation from working on reception, answering enquiries, hosting birthday parties to food preparation work, cleaning and maintenance of equipment and facilities and ongoing efforts to maintain our high standards of health and safety and customer-care. Shifts are available on Saturday and Sundays and are usually between 6 and 8 hours long.

We believe that you will be someone who is:

Over 16 years old. Great with customers and has had experience in a fast-paced, customer facing role. You're proud to represent your place of work and love to create an exciting, positive customer experience to keep your guests coming back for more. Someone with a professional outlook, able to work under own initiative without supervision. Excellent in terms of interpersonal and communication skills with children and adults. Happy to communicate on the phone, email and social media Punctual! Time-keeping is important to you and you're naturally organised and able to prioritise your workload. Well-presented with a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance. An enthusiastic team player able to work with other colleagues in a dynamic business. Upbeat and positive - able to work as part of a team with a cheerful disposition and remaining calm under pressure. Able to demonstrate attention to detail and follow company procedures. Interested in sport and physical activities - it's what we do, and it's great if you can help on the arena from time to time Happy to climb to a height of 10 metres! You won't often have to help on our Arena, but many of our team are cross-trained, so sometimes help our Arena team.
