We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our dynamic team with a cafe in the heart of a busy business park in Peterlee. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front-of-house services within a hospitality environment. This position requires a strong background in food production and safety, as well as exceptional leadership skills to guide our staff in delivering outstanding service to our guests.
Duties
Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring high standards of hospitality and service are maintained.
When required, assist in food preparation, kitchen protocols, and food safety regulations.
Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient food production and presentation.
Assist in scheduling staff shifts, holidays etc.
Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
Conduct regular inspections of the dining area and kitchen to maintain cleanliness and organisation.
Social media management - actively responsible for the promotion of the cafe's social media to encourage customer base.
Experience
Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hotel or restaurant industry is essential.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and culinary practices is highly desirable.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support team members effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
