As we continue to grow and evolve, we're looking for a dynamic and driven General Manager to lead our Nantwich team and deliver unforgettable guest experiences.
The Role
As General Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of our Nantwich location--leading from the front, inspiring your team, and ensuring every guest leaves with a full belly and a big smile. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations, team development, financial performance, and upholding the Deadwood brand's high standards of service, quality, and atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing front and back-of-house team
Ensure exceptional guest experiences through warm, attentive service and consistent food quality
Maintain operational excellence in line with brand standards, health & safety, and licensing regulations
Drive sales and profitability through effective cost control, stock management, and local marketing
Recruit, train, and retain top talent, fostering a positive and professional work culture
Collaborate with the executive team on menu development, promotions, and brand initiatives
Handle guest feedback with professionalism and a solutions-focused mindset
Represent Deadwood Smokehouse in the local community and build strong relationships with suppliers and partners
About You
Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leadership role in a high-volume hospitality environment
Passionate about food, drink, and delivering outstanding customer service
Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
Commercially savvy with a track record of hitting targets and managing budgets
Calm under pressure, highly organized, and solutions-oriented
A hands-on leader who leads by example and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves
Knowledge of Texan or Southern-style cuisine is a bonus--but a love for bold flavours is a must
