Location: Edinburgh Academy Senior School, 42 Henderson Row, Edinburgh, EH3 5BL
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm, with flexibility for occasional weekends and events)
Pay: 14.00 per hour
*Please note this role is term time on a 44-52 week position (this can be discussed at interview)

In partnership with Sodexo, we're looking for an experienced and passionate Front of House Catering & Hospitality Supervisor to help us deliver service that matches our high standards and ethos.
This is a senior, hands-on position - ideal for someone with a proven record in premium hospitality or catering environments and a natural ability to lead teams in fast-paced, customer-focused settings.
The Role:
You'll be the face of our hospitality service, leading the front-of-house team to deliver an exceptional experience for pupils, staff, and guests - whether during a busy weekday breakfast or a high-profile school event.
Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage hospitality events from start to finish
• Supervise all front-of-house activity, ensuring consistent service excellence
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of front-line staff
• Oversee breakfast service daily, ensuring smooth operation and presentation
• Act as Allergen Champion, ensuring safe, clear communication at mealtimes
• Liaise with kitchen and management teams to deliver routine and bespoke events
• Keep all menus, signage, and marketing materials accurate and up to date
• Manage stock and place orders via the Head Chef
• Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming dining environment
• Support with event set-up, decor, layout, and staffing
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and staff compliance records
• Provide hands-on service during busy periods and special occasions

About You:
You'll have a strong background in hospitality or catering, with experience in a supervisory role and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
