We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Hotel. This role is pivotal in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while maintaining high standards of service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, as well as the ability to effectively assist the General Manger in running the hotel. We are a boutique hotel with 18 bedrooms and 11 self catering lodges. We have a 60 cover restaurant on site. Previous knowlege of hotel operations would be preffered but not essential. We require Minimum Supervisionary experience for this role.
Duties
Lead and manage the front-of-house team, ensuring exceptional service delivery at all times.
Assist in the training and development of staff
Oversee daily Hotel operations, including managing reservations, managing breakfast or dinner service, check ins and check outs, telephone commuications
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction is always prioritised.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both staff and customers.
Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a collaborative environment.
A genuine passion for hospitality and providing outstanding service to guests.
This a hands on role and shifts will be a mixture of Day Shifts and Evening shifts where we work to business requirements to cater for our guests. You are required to be flexible and as a manager help assist to run the business correctly.
