We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Manager to join our vibrant team at the Lakeside Cafe. This pivotal role is essential for ensuring a seamless experience for our guests while managing the front-of-house operations effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and restaurant/cafe management, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Duties

Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness are maintained. Supervise and train front-of-house staff, fostering a positive team environment. Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Manage reservations and guest inquiries, providing assistance as needed to enhance the customer experience. Monitor dining room activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist in the development of menus and promotional activities in collaboration with culinary staff. Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation and culinary processes. Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with guests and team members. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding customer service. Familiarity with food production processes is advantageous.
