We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Manager to oversee daily operations within our family-run hospitality venue. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Duties
Supervise front of house staff, including serving, hosting, and bar personnel, ensuring efficient and friendly service.
Oversee reservations, seating arrangements, and customer flow to optimise guest experience.
Coordinate with kitchen staff on food preparation and presentation standards.
Manage daily opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and administrative tasks.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the premises.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any complaints promptly to uphold excellent service standards.
Assist in training new team members and fostering a positive team environment.
Monitor stock levels of service supplies and place orders as necessary.
Skills
Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, ideally with supervising experience in a similar setting.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Knowledge of food safety standards, food production processes, and kitchen operations.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in food preparation, cooking, serving, and general hospitality practices.
Experience with restaurant or hotel operations, including barista experience or culinary background is advantageous.
Exceptional communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
