We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a background in food preparation or kitchen management. This role is pivotal in maintaining high standards of service and enhancing the overall dining experience.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage front of house staff, ensuring excellent customer service is delivered at all times. Coordinate daily restaurant operations, including seating arrangements, reservations, and staff assignments. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth communication and efficient service during busy periods. Train new staff members in service protocols, menu knowledge, and health and safety regulations. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels of front of house supplies and liaise with suppliers as necessary. Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the dining area, ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential. Strong knowledge of food preparation processes and kitchen operations is advantageous. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of staff. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests and team members. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational abilities. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by business needs.

Pay: 34,472.00-35,500.00 per year
