We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic FoH member to join our team in a traditional chippie restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality food and beverage service.
Professional Qualities
We are ideally looking for someone over the age of 18, with prior experience being front of house or in the service industry, and able to work in the evenings between 5pm-9pm especially between Thurs-Sat.
There is potential to go into full time which would include lunches between 12pm-3pm.
Duties
Greet and seat guests, providing info on specials and meals
Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring attention to detail in order-taking.
Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards.
Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area.
Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, providing solutions to enhance their dining experience.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of food safety practices and culinary standards is advantageous.
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
