front of house staff required - We are looking for waiting staff who can work 16-20 hours per week. You must be able to get to the cafe for 7.45 am and this includes a Sunday if you were required. You must be able to chat easily with your customers. Be confident, reliable, hard working, able to work on your own initiative, comfortable working 2 or 3 shifts per week including weekends. We're looking for someone older, able to take responsibility and has to be reliable. You have to be comfortable working on your own, as well as part of a team. it would be ideal to have the following experience but not necessary as training will be given:- working with the public, cash handling and using a coffee machine. Duties:
- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Assist guests with inquiries and provide information about products or services
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Upsell additional items or promotions to enhance customer experience
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the front end area
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks during peak periods

Skills:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is necessary
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to engage with customers effectively
- Proficiency in upselling techniques to promote additional offerings
- Knowledge of basic food preparation methods and food safety standards
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
