Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and regulations. Provide support during catering events, helping to set up, serve, and clean up as needed. Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication between front and back of house operations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy, striving for guest satisfaction. Assist with bartending duties when required, ensuring compliance with licensing laws.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. A positive attitude and willingness to help others in a team-oriented environment. Ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 40 per week
