Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional service. Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of our establishment, whether in a restaurant, catering setting, or bar environment.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanour. Assist with seating arrangements and manage reservations efficiently. Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff. Ensure that all food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and waiting areas. Provide assistance during catering events, ensuring that all guest needs are met promptly. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a courteous manner. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Support bartending duties as needed, including preparing drinks and serving customers at the bar.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues across various departments. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per year

Expected hours: 16 - 45 per week
