Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they walk through the door. Your primary responsibility will be to create a welcoming atmosphere while assisting with various tasks that contribute to a smooth dining experience.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude. Assist guests with seating arrangements and provide menus. Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring attention to detail. Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Up-sell food and beverage items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and waiting areas. Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the service.

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential for the right candidate Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments. Knowledge of culinary practices is an advantage, especially regarding food preparation techniques. Excellent guest services skills with a passion for helping others enjoy their dining experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 35 per week
