Duties
Supervise and coordinate the activities of front of house staff, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Assist in training and mentoring new team members, fostering a positive work environment.
Oversee food preparation and presentation to guarantee quality and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage reservations and guest inquiries, providing assistance as needed to enhance customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and service.
Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and tact, striving for resolution.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, ensuring it meets company standards.
Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as required.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hotel environment is essential.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary standards.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly disposition.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
