Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and experienced front of house supervisors to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences while ensuring efficient restaurant operations. This role requires leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for the food industry.
Responsibilities
Assist the manager with daily restaurant operations to ensure a high standard of service and quality.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Utilize POS system for efficient order processing and cash handling.
Control inventory levels and manage ordering of supplies to minimize waste and optimize costs.
Train, develop, and supervise staff to foster a positive work environment and enhance team performance.
Implement training programs focused on culinary skills, customer service, and hospitality management.
Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the restaurant.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Skills
Proven experience in restaurant supervisor or a similar role within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen management practices.
Familiarity with inventory control processes and cash handling procedures.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Effective communication skills to interact with both staff and customers professionally.
Ability to train staff in food safety practices and customer service excellence.
Proficient in using POS systems for efficient operations.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
