The Renaissance at Kelham hall are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests while maintaining high standards of service and food safety. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supervising the front of house operations, leading the team, and ensuring that all culinary and service standards are met.

Duties

Oversee daily front of house operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery and guest satisfaction. Supervise and manage the front of house team, providing guidance and support to enhance performance. Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication between front and back of house. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation. Assist in food preparation and presentation as needed, demonstrating culinary skills when required. Train new staff members on service techniques, menu knowledge, and health and safety protocols. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and a positive attitude. Monitor inventory levels of front of house supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong background in culinary practices, food production, and food preparation techniques. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
