Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front of house area, ensuring exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You will work closely with both the kitchen and front-of-house staff to maintain high standards of hospitality and food safety, while also leading and managing your team effectively.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate activities of front-of-house staff, including waitstaff and bartenders, to ensure efficient service. Maintain a high standard of customer service by training staff on hospitality best practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and delivery. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all dining areas. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to enhance customer satisfaction. Assist in scheduling shifts and managing team performance through effective leadership. Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, placing orders as necessary. Organise special events or promotions to enhance the dining experience.

Qualifications

Proven leadership skills with experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hotel environment. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Experience in bartending or cooking is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a focus on team management and customer service. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 12.21-13.25 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 38 per week
