We are looking for a Front of House Support Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to join GLT / Wallington County Grammar School and become an integral member of the Administrative team.

Main responsibilities:
Receiving deliveries/parcels
Working within Main Reception with the Premises Manager.
Inform staff of deliveries received
Visiting School teachers, SCITT training and regular visitors, liaise with Personnel officer re DBS
Safeguarding - working with Designated Safeguarding Leads to ensure high standards of security - staff badges / visitors / signing in-out records.
Fire Evacuation Records - taking visitor / signing in-out records and any other signing in logs to fire assembly point
Fire Evacuation Box - announcement over tannoy for evacuation, start stopwatch then hand to Deputy Head Teacher
During Public exams time the logging of exam papers creates an audit of received and collected exam documents by the exams officer
Tannoy messages as and when necessary
Monitor the general enquiries email account and distribute emails accordingly
To be knowledgeable in daily activities in the School
You will need:
English, Maths GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C or above
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
Excellent communicator - sensitive, compassionate and effective
Excellent customer services, communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organised and able to use initiative to resolve problems independently and within timescales
Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands
