Duties
Lead and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional service, ensuring every guest feels welcome and valued.
Oversee daily restaurant operations, including shift management, seating arrangements, and ensuring timely service.
Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching to enhance their skills in customer service, food handling, and restaurant procedures.
Manage reservations, monitor table turnover, and optimize seating plans to maximize efficiency.
Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels of dining supplies, beverages, and other essentials; assist with ordering when necessary.
Ensure all food safety standards are met by supervising food preparation areas and enforcing hygiene protocols in line with health regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen management to coordinate food production, ensuring timely delivery of orders and high-quality presentation.
Support the team during busy periods by assisting with food service, bar operations, or catering events as needed.
Address guest inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster positive relationships.
Experience
Proven supervisory or team management experience within a quick service or fast food restaurant environment is essential; experience in casual dining or fine dining settings is highly valued.
Strong background in food service management, including training & development of staff and overseeing daily restaurant operations.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and food safety practices within the hospitality industry.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and culinary standards--experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills combined with leadership qualities to motivate a diverse team.
Ability to handle cash accurately while managing shift responsibilities effectively under pressure.
