Irmak Restaurant is a brand-new Mediterranean bar & grill opening at Queens Links, Aberdeen. Inspired by warm Turkish hospitality and vibrant seaside dining, we aim to bring a fresh, modern experience to the beachfront. As we prepare to open our doors within the next few weeks, we are building a team that is passionate, professional, and ready to deliver outstanding service from day one.

Job Summary

We are seeking friendly, confident, and experienced Front of House team members to join us for our opening. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, cares about guest experience, and enjoys working as part of a tight-knit team.

December will be an especially

high-pressure and high-volume

period for us, so we need individuals who can remain

calm, organised, and positive

even during the busiest service peaks.

Key Duties

Welcome guests with genuine warmth and deliver exceptional service throughout their visit Take food and drink orders accurately and provide timely, efficient service Uphold all food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards across the front-of-house Assist with basic food preparation and presentation when needed Collaborate closely with the kitchen and bar teams to keep service running smoothly Confidently upsell menu items, signature cocktails, and specials Handle POS transactions, payments, and bookings with accuracy Maintain a clean, organised, and inviting dining area at all times Address guest queries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy Support the team during busy shifts to maintain high service standards

Experience & Skills

Previous experience in hospitality -- ideally restaurant or bar service -- is

highly desirable

Strong guest service skills with a friendly, outgoing, and approachable personality Ability to stay calm, confident, and focused during high-pressure periods, especially during December Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks at once Knowledge of basic food safety and food handling is an advantage Ability to upsell confidently and communicate clearly with both guests and colleagues Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and POS operation A passion for Mediterranean cuisine and hospitality is a bonus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.30-18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
