We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere. You will assist in various tasks, including food preparation, taking orders, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Your ability to engage with customers and provide support will be crucial in creating a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome customers as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate. Assist with food preparation in accordance with food safety standards to ensure high-quality service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any customer inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all tasks are completed promptly without compromising service quality. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols.

Skills

Strong understanding of food safety practices within a restaurant environment. Experience in a similar role within the culinary or hospitality sector is advantageous but not essential. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being proactive in assisting customers. A passion for providing outstanding customer service and helping create a positive dining experience for guests.
