Responsibilities

Welcome guests warmly and ensure they feel comfortable from arrival to departure Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when appropriate Serve food and beverages with professionalism and attentiveness Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations Handle guest enquiries promptly and courteously, resolving any issues to ensure satisfaction Upsell menu items and special offers to maximise sales opportunities Follow food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed during service periods Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions accurately Experience in serving, culinary arts, or kitchen environments is a plus but not mandatory Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
