Job Summary:
As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the first point of contact for both dine-in and takeaway customers. You'll provide friendly, efficient, and accurate service while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role involves greeting customers, managing orders (in-person, online, and over the phone), processing payments, and ensuring smooth coordination between the kitchen and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service
Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately, both for dine-in and takeaway.
Answer phone calls and handle online or app-based orders efficiently.
Provide menu information and make recommendations when requested.
Ensure all orders are packaged correctly and ready for collection or delivery handover.
Handle any customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
Front of House Operations
Manage the counter and waiting area to ensure it stays clean and organized.
Operate the POS system for orders and payments (cash and card).
Coordinate order timing with kitchen staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain cleanliness of tables, counters, and customer areas throughout the shift.
Restock front-of-house items such as condiments, packaging, and cutlery.
Teamwork & Communication
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and order accuracy.
Communicate clearly with delivery drivers, customers, and colleagues.
Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and setup tasks.

Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in a restaurant, cafe, or takeaway environment preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently during busy periods.
Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
