Job Description

We're looking for a

friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Front of House team member

to join our busy dessert shop. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, love customer service, and take pride in keeping a space clean and organised... we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Welcoming customers with a positive, friendly attitude Taking orders accurately and handling payments Preparing and serving desserts, drinks, and takeaway orders Providing excellent customer service and handling customer queries professionally Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the store Cleaning duties including wiping surfaces, washing up, sweeping, and mopping Restocking items and keeping front-of-house areas organised Supporting the team during busy periods

Occasionally opening and closing the store

, including cashing up and end-of-day checks Covering basic managerial duties when required (with training provided)

What We're Looking For

Previous

customer service experience

(hospitality experience preferred) Confident, well-presented, and friendly

Driving License (to travel between Hertford & Hitchin occasionally)

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Able to work independently and take initiative when needed Comfortable in a fast-paced environment Willing to learn opening/closing procedures and take on responsibility Willing to be in our social media (Instagram & TikTok)

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 10.00-15.56 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 25 per week
